But I set it up & played it so I can assure you it's 'ready-to-go'. Beautiful cherry red mahogany body with figured top & back for a striking 3-D look. Mahogany set-neck with large inlays. Vintage-style tuners and chrome humbucker pickups. This has the nice wide neck with a slim profile that a lot of players are looking for. You won't find a cleaner one and at only 6 1/2 lbs, this is the lightest one I have played so far. Comes in original shipping box (no case or bag).
